Information Technology revolution fuelled global growth to a new height. Research is driven towards capturing information and storing them for long time use. As requirements for information growing more and more, storage space requirements also grow exponentially. The storing data on magnetic dots are becoming obsolete and technology offers possibility to store in molecules. Nanopositioning system is a heart which reaches a specific molecule to read and write data.
Qtech’s linear and rotory solid state motors coupled with compound solid state actuator provide high bandwidth for data storage and retrieval. Qtech exploits almost all of its intellectual property to ensure proper functionality. Data storage in molecule needs high linearity to pick data properly, high repeatability to retract to pick up missed data, zero hysteresis for proper scanning over molecules, stability to “transact” data into molecules, high acceleration to reach data point, high speed for data processing, long range displacement to reach next sector, highly intelligent fuzzy logic control systems to traverse over wavy path as molecules are not atomic flat and atomic linear, high sensitive feedback control to negotiate with external disturbing factors.
